The Par 3 Contest began in 1960 and quickly became an honored
Wednesday tradition at the Masters. The Par 3 course was added to
Augusta National in 1958 by founder Clifford Roberts and course
architect George Cobb.
Golfers who participate in the Par 3 competition include players
from the current Masters field, non-competing past champions and
honorary invitees.
Below is a listing of yardage for the nine holes that make up
Augusta National's Par 3 Course.
