1951: Ben Hogan kept himself in the hunt with early rounds of 70, 72 and 70. He claimed sole posession of third place entering the final round, trailing Skee Riegel and Sam Snead by a stroke. That's when Hogan surged and delivered a bogey-free 68 to move past Riegel and Snead for his first Masters title. |
