1975 -- Medinah Country Club
Lou Graham was 11 strokes off the pace after two rounds of the 1975 U.S. Open. Graham came roaring back, though, with rounds of 70 and 73 to force an 18-hole playoff with John Mahaffey. After Graham made a birdie on the fourth hole of the playoff, he never trailed again, eventually shooting 71 to Mahaffey's 73.
