1980 -- Baltusrol Golf Club
In the 1980 U.S. Open, Jack Nicklaus was on a mission. Not only did he shatter his own tournament scoring record from the 1967 U.S. Open played on the same course, he also captured his fourth U.S. Open title -- a feat only accomplished earlier by Bobby Jones, Willie Anderson and Ben Hogan. Nicklaus set the tone in the first round with an impressive 63 and never faltered from the top spot on the leaderboard.
