2001 -- Southern Hills Country Club
Retief Goosen had a 2-foot putt on No. 18 Sunday to be declared the
winner the 2001 U.S. Open. But things didn't end quite as
planned. He missed the putt and had to face Mark Brooks on Monday
for an 18-hole playoff. In the end, Goosen walked to the final
hole with a 3-stroke lead over Brooks and won the tournament.
